WOW ! Look at the glaze at the top !
The glaze on this platter has a flaw called " crawling." It is caused by several
possibilities. The most likely is ; finger prints or a large goopy spot from the ball
of a hand as the plattere was moved. Or, possibly dust; left after cleaning, before
the bisque firing. We are constantly washing our hands to avoid this. But, it is an
art not a science. So, this platter has been set out to pasture or garden.
