GLAZING SOAP PUMPS: NEXT TUTORIAL

Here is documentation on an interesting situation we were confronted with in July 2003. We took the top off the GLAZE DIPPING TUB and there was a
terrible; horrible; gross SCUM
living in the water; that floated over the glaze.
It looked like bacteria had grown after the glaze had been used and its components settled.
The bacteria was a “swirlly” scum growing in between the settled glaze and the water that had floated to the top.
Our first inclination to the problem was to just ignore it. red button

FIRST MIXING

So, we just mixed up the glaze with an electric drill and mixing tool.
NAW...THAT did not do it.
The scum did not go away or desolve. red button

OH YEAH....
