These are the tools you need to make your own scoring tool:

• line pliers

• 1/ 4 inch [ 1 cm ] copper pipe

• one inch scrape # 6 coated electric wire

• orange # 2 lead pencil

• utility knife

• hack saw

CRIMP PIPE

Carefully; crimp pipe on each side: the wire side and the pencil side.
Here you see an orange # 2 lead pencil. Other pencils may work; or a maybe a dowel.
Crimping the wire requires some special attention to the wires. It takes eight or ten or more pinches with the pliers to engage all the wires. Ypu might wnt to “wack” the pipe with a small hammer, too.
Be careful though, you do not want to fracture the pencil.

And, three simple pin tools; taped together for special needs.
Do you suppose it is possible to use three orange pencils and three needles or large pins pushed into the erasers ?
NAUGH...Where would you ever find THREE orange pencils ?
