DRAGONFLY VASE

When Kim was young; she spent many Saturday afternoon's swimming near the falls in Red Creek. She remembers descending a steep path covered with iron red shale. They called it “Fall's Mill.”   The banks were a fluttered with thousands of dragon flies darting hither and yon. The surface of the water teamed with those insects that glide across the surface effortlessly. The dragon fly on this vase reminds us of the dreamy days of summer.
